Technologist - Cath Lab EP I

This role provides technical support in cardiovascular procedures within the Cardiac Cath and EP Labs, assisting in diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions. Key responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures under supervision, applying appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal outcomes, and developing and implementing treatment plans in line with hospital protocols. Additional duties involve maintaining equipment and work areas, documenting procedures to ensure compliance, and participating in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards. Qualifications require a minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath or EP labs, with education from an accredited Cardiovascular, Surgical Technology, or Radiology program. Skills and certifications include BLS certification within 14 days of hire, ACLS within 6 months, and RCIS/RCES, CST, or ARRT(R) credentials preferred. Additional skills involve understanding Lab principles, maintaining safety, and executing assigned goals effectively.
