Technician X-Ray- Brooklyn
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team. You will prepare patients for radiologic examinations in a professional and courteous manner, operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment, and process films according to established procedures.
This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week with varied hours from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The schedule includes Monday and Wednesday at our Elmhurst office (Queens), and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at one of the following locations: 38 6th Avenue, 50 Court St, 3417 Kings Highway, or 502 86 Street. Candidates must be flexible to float to other locations within NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Medical Group as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiology (two years)
- New York State X-Ray Technologist License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Pay
Salary Range: $48.60 - $60.26 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Varied hours: 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Monday and Wednesday: Elmhurst office (Queens)
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: Flexible locations (38 6th Avenue, 50 Court St, 3417 Kings Highway, 502 86 Street)
- Must be flexible to float to other locations as needed
All roles require on-site presence, so employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
