PetVet Care Centers' Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists is currently seeking a Technician Supervisor (RVT) to join our team!

Position Overview

  • Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing
  • Collect and process work charts
  • Absorb and process in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system
  • Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors
  • Process payments and monthly statements
  • Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and "NSF" checks; determine when special financial agreements are appropriate
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable
  • Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Be dependable and punctual

Qualifications (Required)

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in an emergency and/or specialty hospital
  • Previous supervisory, lead technician, or management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of emergency medicine, anesthesia, surgery, triage, and critical care nursing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop veterinary nursing staff
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and client service skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow and make sound decisions in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Experience with staff scheduling, performance coaching, and accountability
  • Proficiency with veterinary practice management software and electronic medical records
  • Commitment to fostering a positive team culture, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call leadership responsibilities as needed

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Current CPR/RECOVER certification preferred; commitment to continuing education and professional development required

Schedule

3:30PM-12:00AM, Tuesday to Saturday

Must be flexible with schedule

Emergency hospitals operate 24 hours, 7 days-a-week
