PetVet Care Centers' Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists is currently seeking a Technician Supervisor (RVT) to join our team!

Position Overview
- Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing
- Collect and process work charts
- Absorb and process in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system
- Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors
- Process payments and monthly statements
- Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and "NSF" checks; determine when special financial agreements are appropriate
- Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable
- Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Be dependable and punctual
Qualifications (Required)
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in an emergency and/or specialty hospital
- Previous supervisory, lead technician, or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of emergency medicine, anesthesia, surgery, triage, and critical care nursing
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop veterinary nursing staff
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and client service skills
- Proven ability to prioritize workflow and make sound decisions in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Experience with staff scheduling, performance coaching, and accountability
- Proficiency with veterinary practice management software and electronic medical records
- Commitment to fostering a positive team culture, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call leadership responsibilities as needed
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Current CPR/RECOVER certification preferred; commitment to continuing education and professional development required
Schedule
3:30PM-12:00AM, Tuesday to Saturday
Must be flexible with schedule
Emergency hospitals operate 24 hours, 7 days-a-week
