About the Role

Provides technical assistance by preparing, monitoring, and maintaining patients, facilities, and equipment to facilitate diagnostic and interventional procedures in a safe and timely manner. Offers a caring relationship that supports health and healing. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepare patients, facilities, and equipment.
• Collect and record pertinent patient and procedural data.
• Utilize equipment and instruments in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain skills and knowledge through training and continuing education.
• Follow direction, under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, to assist with patient care.
• Complete assigned goals.

Requirements

• Previous healthcare experience (minimum required).
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
