Technician, Process - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up parameters on mold and extrusion machines.
• Do change overs of mold and extrusion machines.
• Secure all parameters are aligned with those specified during validation.
• Ensure installations and utilities are set as specified.
• Document the setup, parameters, and tools used.
• Support operators and leadership when issues occur on the lines.
• Analyze and solve issues in the process.
• Clean tools before returning them to the tool shop.
• Perform preventive maintenance as specified.
• Keep molding and extrusion machines clean at all times.
• Verify machines are set up at the beginning of each shift.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with all safety, rules, and standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine or minor problems quickly and effectively.
• Provide technical support to all projects and assist in reducing defects.
• Participate in various process projects and provide research for all developmental teams.
• Work overtime per company policy to meet product demand.
• Routinely lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for up to an extended period of time to perform assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Highschool education or equivalent.
• Technical degree preferred.
• 5 years of work experience with molding and/or extrusion preferred.
• Apprentice Technician, Process requires no prior experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and communicate in English with sufficient fluency.
