Job Responsibilities
- Collections, analyzes and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs and to determine final testing parameter/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
- Oversees and performs difficult and unusual procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Follows procedural protocols.
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy.
- Completes assigned goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registry Eligible in Sleep and must challenge the BRPT Exam of hire/transfer to be eligible to remain in the PSG II job classification.
- If the candidate has previous sleep experience and is eligible to take the exam upon hire, he/she must challenge the next available exam date and and pass the exam to remain a PSG II Technician.
- Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Basic computer literacy skills.
