Technician-P&D Driver

About the role

The Technician-P&D (P&D Technician) is responsible for operating a company truck and driving to various locations to deliver and/or pick-up portable restrooms, hand sinks or holding tanks. They perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with United Site Services (USS) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, perform customer service interaction, ensure safety standards, manage routes efficiently, and provide service according to USS 8-point service standard.

Essential Functions

• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform customer service interaction when on customer work sites to ensure they are getting the services completed to their standard.
• Ensure all work duties are performed safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Pick-up and deliver USS units at customer locations in a timely manner in accordance with customer needs.
• Be flexible in adjusting routes to meet customer needs.
• Provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct portable toilets servicing to USS 8-point service standard as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
