Technician

Automation, Inc. is looking for a Value-Added Technician. Automation is a value-added stocking distributor. We are looking for a technician to design and problem solve electrical and pneumatic assemblies. Job Duties Custom work-varies from project to projectCompleting building of materials to the customer’s specifications in a timely manner.Assemble electrical and pneumatic systems, wiring, soldering, panel assemblyTest completed assemblies for function and qualityBe able to read prints and complete BOM’s Pull/prep parts for assemblyRepetitive assembliesExperience with layoutPulling partsIdeal candidate will have experience documenting new BOM’s using Turbo CAD for wiring diagrams. Job Skills A sound knowledge of engineering design principlesStrong attention to detailWork independentlyGood numeracy and computer skillsGood communication and organizational skillsAn understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methodsGood problem-solving skillsThe ability to work as part of a teamThe ability to meet deadlinesManaging multiple projectsAble to lift 50 lbs.
