About the role

A day in the life of a Plumber at REV includes:

• Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine
• Bending pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand
• Joining pipes by using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints
• Assembling and installing valves, pipe fittings, and pipes
• Filling pipe systems with water or air and reading pressure gauges to check for system leaks

Requirements

• Preferred 1-2 years of plumbing experience
• Preferred high school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings within the first 90 days of employment
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Successful completion of drug and background screening
