Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an onsite Technician/Machine Operator for our Pennsylvania recycling operation. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.
Pay
$19.00/hr plus a $3.00 shift differential. Opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 an hour within the first year through a structured tier advancement program.
Schedule
Saturday/Sunday, 6:00am–3:00pm and Monday through Wednesday, 2:30pm–11:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate, maintain, and set up shredding/grinding/cleaning machines.
- Resolve day-to-day operational and maintenance issues.
- Calibrate probes and monitor pH of processed waste.
- Read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Clear jams and clean machines daily in coordination with the maintenance department.
- Monitor machine performance and report issues to maintenance.
- Develop understanding of OSHA regulations and Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices.
- Build working relationships with co-workers.
- Solve unique problems creatively.
- Perform regular/daily cleaning of work area and tools.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate large precision shop machinery.
- Strong problem-solving and process-improvement aptitude.
- Ability to articulate problems and solutions clearly.
- Sense of urgency and personal initiative in resolving issues with professionalism.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing stressful situations.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
- Participation in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) upon employment.
- Reliable form of transportation.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Previous forklift experience.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment requiring hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Large facility (~100,000 square feet).
- Seasonal temperature and weather variations.
