Technician – LAS Harry Reid International Airport – Full Time

BASIC FUNCTION

Smarte Carte, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated individual for a full-time Technician position. This position will work a defined schedule at locations within LAS Harry Reid International Airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform maintenance on all equipment, including carts, Cushmans, cart management units, and wheelchairs.
• Clean carts, strollers, wheelchairs and CMUs to ensure clean and functional equipment is always available for customers.
• Maintain record completion of daily tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history of all equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (customers, clients, and peers).
• Establish, organize, and replenish personal inventory of replacement parts, tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Manage locations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as Smarte Carte and facility policies, procedures, and standards.
• Able to use a computer and some knowledge using MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to use a computer and comfortable with MS products.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in a customer service role required.
• Minimum 2 years of repair and maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electro/mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and repair.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs. to waist height
• Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
• Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time

Visual Acuity/Manual Dexterity

• Required for performing mechanical and electrical repairs.

License/Certifications

• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to get an airport badge will be required.
