Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
- Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
- Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
- Work as a team‑player supporting team goals and act as a self‑starter motivated to succeed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a diesel mechanic; construction equipment rental background preferred.
- Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines (including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems).
- Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains.
- Must possess the necessary tools to perform the job (valued at $5,000+).
- Ability to inspect, service, test equipment to manufacturer specs; perform routine service (fluid checks, changes, lubrication); perform novice‑level welding (MIG & SMAW); maintain accurate maintenance and warranty records.

Pay
Starting pay at $29.65 per hour, dependent on experience; paid weekly. Eligible for discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus.
Schedule
Typical schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; overtime eligible.
