What you will do
The Technician III
- Provide outstanding service and support during on-site visits
- Forge positive relationships with customers
- Manage installation and repair tasks
- Accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Train and support of less experienced technicians
- Complete detailed service reports to improve future service quality
How you will do it
The Technician III
- Clean, maintain, troubleshoot and install Easy Ice equipment
- Diagnose machine performance problems or system errors down to the component
- Manage on-site, remote, and standard installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
- Train and mentor less senior technicians as required
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
- Accurately document all actions performed during service visits
- Ensure proper truck stock at all times
- Facilitate the processing of accurate payments from customers
- Absorb and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Drive a vehicle for up to 60 percent of the hours worked
Who we are looking for
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Vocational/Technical Training preferred
- Experience: 5+ years experience in the diagnosis and repair of commercial equipment (prior experience with refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, ice machines, or related equipment)
- EPA 2 Certification
- Ability to demonstrate and train hot work
- Ability to demonstrate and train refrigeration diagnostics
- Ability to demonstrate and train electrical diagnostics
- Ability to demonstrate, install, and train operations on all ice machine brands
- Adept and ability to train and mentor less experienced technicians
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and de-escalation skills
- High level of ability to work and problem solve independently
- Working knowledge of mobile tools and applications
- Experience in and the ability to demonstrate volt meter operations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing repair and maintenance issues
- Demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction
