Technician III

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repair services to vehicles.
• May concentrate on specific areas of the company's fleet such as delivery trucks, or service a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnostics vehicle problems, estimates and prices out repairs, and orders parts as necessary.
• Maintains a safe work area.
• May train apprentices in the trade.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver’s license is also required. Previous experience in automotive repair is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams.

Skills

Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.
