Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on diesel and gas engines, hydraulic, electrical, ignition, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and major/minor repairs.
• Use strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to address complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with DOT medical requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to support business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, or equipment rental sectors.
• Experience with diesel and gas engines, drivetrains, and various systems.
• A DOT medical card is required.
• A clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, fuel systems, ignition, and drivetrain components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

Typical schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with potential for overtime based on business needs.
