Technician III, Facilities Services
About the role
Facilities Services Technician III plays a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems in a pharmaceutical setting, adhering to strict regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, potential issues, and develop preventive maintenance plans.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
- Troubleshoot complex problems with facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure, and provide technical expertise to resolve issues.
- Oversee and perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of facility systems.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certificate in a technical field or a technical trade school, or High School Diploma.
- 5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $63,200.00 - $100,900.00. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
Schedule
This role follows a 70/30 work model, with 70% in-office collaboration to foster innovation, teamwork, and direct mentorship.
