Sunstate Equipment Co. offers a unique opportunity in the heavy equipment industry, emphasizing safety and people-centric values. The company is currently hiring immediately for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position in their Tulsa, OK shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Use basic tool set and computer diagnostic software.
• Welding methods as needed.
• Maintain industry and Sunstate safety standards.
• Learn and grow through training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Necessary basic tool set for equipment repairs.
• Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• Safety-oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards.

Pay and Schedule

Pay range: $24 - $28+/hr, dependent upon experience. Quarterly branch performance bonus may apply.
