Technician II, S/M

Description

The Description Technician I, S/M is responsible for being proficient in all minor through intermediate repairs, modifications, and service bulletins.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Highly proficient in fabrication, cold working, flap peening and jacking/shoring aircraft.
• Highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
• Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
• Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You Need To Be Successful In This Role

• This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
• May or may not have a Airframe and or Powerplant license.
• Computer keypunch experience.
• Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Able to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Must possess and be able to skillfully use the minimum tools required.
