Technician II-- Machinist

Essential Functions

• Performs operations on CNC machining centers and lathes and various other plant machinery and equipment.
• Works from blueprints and job descriptions.
• Responsible for setting up CNC and manual machinery.
• Maintains records and logs, as needed.
• Guidance and direction will come from experienced production leads.
• Performs related duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school and Technical School with 3-5 years of experience minimum.
• Ability to work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent work history and attendance record.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete tasks. High level CNC / Manual machinist position responsible for all aspects of the machine cell or improvement activity.
