Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Perform routine operations and maintenance on equipment at terminal facilities, including 480V 3-phase electrical distribution systems, PLCs, pumps, motors, and load rack equipment.
• Provide overall troubleshooting and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities, including planning, estimating, scheduling, cost controlling, and execution of maintenance projects.
• Perform and record regulatory and company policy preventative maintenance inspections and procedures as identified in the Maintenance and/or Regulatory Manuals and in JDE system.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge relating to new and current technology and equipment.
• Procure and manage the efforts of outside contractors as required.
• Implement company policies, standards, drawings, diagrams, and construction specifications for the installation of new facilities and the repair or upgrade of existing facilities.
• Train operations personnel and others in the use of new or modified equipment or software.
• Maintain equipment records and furnish documentation per company policy of work performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical) OR equivalent combination of education/work experience.
• Experience in pipeline, terminal, or plant operations and maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with 480 Volt 3-phase electrical distribution systems is required.
• Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) is preferred.
• Experience in measurement of liquids or gas is preferred.
• Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to navigate basic computer systems (e.g., Windows).
• Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office is a plus.
• Strong communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical skills and technical aptitude.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Must meet medical criteria established by OSHA for emergency response.
• Capable of performing the physical labor required to complete the responsibilities of this position, including the use of related tools and work equipment.
