About the role
Technician II responsible for delivering professional lawn care services, including applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control products.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose lawn issues, evaluate conditions, and determine appropriate treatments.
- Safely operate and maintain application equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
- Apply chemicals following safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, educating clients on lawn maintenance and treatment results.
- Document treatments, chemicals used, and communicate customer concerns to management.
- Monitor inventory, perform equipment maintenance, and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and chemical handling regulations.
- Complete required training and maintain necessary licenses or certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; lawn care or chemical application experience preferred but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with chemicals.
- Willingness to complete safety and chemical application training.
