Technician I, Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products (Weekday Nights)

About the role
As a Technician I, you are responsible for driving meaningful organizational impact by ensuring accurate production flow decisions, precise material preparation, and documentation practices that uphold quality and compliance standards. Your work strengthens operational efficiency through effective equipment use and cleaning, inventory control, while consistently prioritizing work aligned with departmental goals. This role reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products Value Stream located in Coralville. All work is performed on-site.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 9:00pm – 7:30am (weekday overnight)
Responsibilities
- Accurately use aids and work instructions to make decisions about proper production flow based on product type or services.
- Use a variety of lab equipment to process products including maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and Maintenance Connection software.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently.
Qualifications
It would be a plus if you also possess:
- An associate degree.
- Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience.
