Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance and repair services to vehicles.
- May concentrate on specific areas of the company's fleet such as delivery trucks, or service a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnostics vehicle problems, estimates and prices out repairs, and orders parts as necessary.
- Maintains a safe work area.
- May train apprentices in the trade.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Previous experience in automotive maintenance and repair preferred.
Qualifications
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
