Technician I

About the role

This position pays flag time at $25.00/hr. You will be working on various vehicles, learning about sensors, electronics, and proper diagnostics. The role involves working in diverse environments, particularly in heat and humidity, and includes frequent service calls on diesel vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Follow repair bulletins as directed by the manager
• Repair vehicles using required tools
• Replace or repair components such as:
  • Starters
  • Sensors
  • Wheel seals
  • Transmission solenoids
  • Diesel injectors
  • Turbos
  • Exhaust leaks
  • Fan clutches
  • Radiators
  • EGR coolers
  • Camshafts
• Complete repairs within negotiated timeframes

Requirements

• Strong work ethic
• Must have own transportation

• Own tools
• Customer service skills
• Bilingual

Pay

Flag time at $25.00 per hour, with additional performance pay and commission on new sales.
