Technician I - 2nd Shift (4:00p - 2:30a)

About the role

We are looking for a Technician - 2nd shift (4:00pm - 2:30pm) for our Mequon, WI facility. In this role you will be responsible to handle, transport, and load material, operate mechanical production equipment, inspect and pack product, track and record production, and log/record downtime information. Follow company policies and procedures, actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and engages in the company core values. This position needs to follow HSE and Quality Standards, and maintain cleanliness work areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs production operations to support the manufacturing process.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Communicates clearly with co-workers and supervisors. Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
• Must be able to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions and ask questions if necessary to prevent misunderstanding.
