About the Role

You will report to the Field Supervisor and be responsible for completing HVAC service and installation jobs for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and W/H equipment issues.
  • Serves customers by resolving product and service challenges, as well as providing relevant product and service information that helps solve them.
  • Educate customers on new equipment and technologies.
  • Present customers with information and pricing on service offerings, accessories, quality, cost, and other relevant home comfort improvements.
  • Complete approved repairs and installations within industry-standard timelines, following proper safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Citizenship: This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. Applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of experience as an HVAC installation, maintenance, or service technician.
  • EPA refrigerant certified.
  • 313A/313D certification considered an asset.
  • Knowledge with brazing, soldering, and welding.
  • Experience following controls/wiring schematics and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, team player and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a winning attitude to go above and beyond.
  • Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
