Technician, Electrical Network

About the role

As a member of the Electrical Network Technician department’s operating team at Materion’s Elmore site, you will independently perform duties to maintain and improve the reliability of cabling infrastructure supporting plant communications, networking, and safety. You will coordinate telecommunications maintenance, troubleshoot network and cabling issues, work with internal and external partners, update blueprints, and perform electrical base craft tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the continuous improvement process by making suggestions to supervisors and leads.
• Ensure all housekeeping requirements are met.
• Perform to Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Procedures to maintain material flow to internal and external customers.
• Coordinate day-to-day telecommunications maintenance requirements for the Elmore site, including installation and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems.
• Work closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution and address emergent telecommunication issues, which may require occasional off‑shift support for business‑critical issues.
