Technician, Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
• Builds and installs control and control equipment such as switches, relays.
• Connects power cables to equipment.
• Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
• Operate lift truck with certification.
• Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
• Computer and ERP system familiarity.
• Organized, proactive, and detail oriented.
• Able to handle confidential information appropriately.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and moving machinery.
• May involve domestic and international travel.
• Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs occasionally.
