About the role
The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production operations. This role requires expertise in diagnosing electrical issues, executing preventive maintenance, and implementing upgrades to improve equipment reliability and performance while adhering to safety and quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems
- Interpret and apply schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Maintain, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and other automation systems
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment compliance with safety standards
- Document electrical maintenance activities in CMMS
- Assist with electrical upgrades, retrofits, and new installations
- Some duties may vary slightly by location
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Technical or Vocational Training in Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Maintenance (Preferred)
Experience
- 1-3 years with PLCs, automation systems, and motor controls (Preferred)
- 1-3 years in an industrial or manufacturing environment (Required)
