Electrical Technician - 2nd shift

Shift Details

• Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:00am
• Required Overtime may be necessary depending on company needs.
• Weekend production may be required as needed.

• Anticipated hourly range: $23.40-$36.63/hourly (includes shift differential)

What Process Control and Maintenance Contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing
• Responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
• Sets up and operates processing equipment to manufacture to established quality standards in order to meet production demands.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and conducts maintenance on equipment.
• Writes and executes equipment qualifications on all new or modified tooling or equipment to test and qualify items and provide documented proof that operations are within established parameters.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety precautions and regulations.
• Be proactive in addressing safety issues and concerns.
• Report all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.
• Provide leadership and technical support, in the areas of capital project installations, equipment upgrades, equipment startup, process troubleshooting, and production support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Associates degree in electrical/electronics or equivalent education and experience preferred
• Skills in computer operations and functions, both Hardware (CPU, monitors, board level) and Software (Office, AutoCAD electrical) preferred
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley Hardware: Control Logix, Panel View Plus (HMI), Micrologix, PLC 5, Servers and Software, RSlogix 5000, RSLinx, Factory Talk, CCW, Drive Executive, Visual Motion preferred
