About the role
The maintenance personnel are responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to keep in proper working order. Essential Functions:
- Ensure operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
- Work with production personnel to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Work in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEM’s to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipment
- Locate sources of problems by observing machines in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Perform electrical troubleshooting using the proper tools and PPE
- Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Communicate with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or other
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements
- Completion of a 16-month course at an accredited university
- Corrugated manufacturing and converting experience
Qualifications
- Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner; Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business; Ability to effectively work in teams; Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people; Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles; Proficient computer skills including the ability to navigate and perform needed duties on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); Ability to use rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments; Ability to operate equipment including machines, alignment tools, high lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, scissors lifts, etc.; Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, PLC, and instrumentation and process controls
