Technician - Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning

What You'll Earn

• $17.50–$19/hr to start — based on experience and reliability

What You'll Do:

You and your crew will roll out each night after restaurants close and get to work inspecting and cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems from top to bottom — hood, filters, ductwork, and rooftop fans — using professional-grade pressure washing equipment and cleaning techniques.

No two nights are exactly the same. You'll be moving, climbing, pressure washing, and leaving every location cleaner and safer than you found it.

• Pressure washing kitchen exhaust systems: hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans
• Setting up and breaking down job sites per HOODZ standards
• Operating specialized cleaning equipment
• Keeping your truck stocked, clean, and ready
• Driving a company work vehicle to client locations
• Documenting your work with before-and-after photos through our app

No Experience in Hood Cleaning Required

No experience in hood cleaning required. Previous experience in construction, maintenance, pressure washing, mechanical work, or food service is a plus — but not a requirement. We'll train the right person.
