About the role

Calibrates electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.
  • Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training.
  • 5+ years experience calibrating / adjusting electronic or physical / dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Able to periodically lift & carry in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Requires driving company provided vehicle twice per week to Courtland, AL facility.
  • US citizenship required to have access to site location.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing / production floor environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years experience calibrating / adjusting electronic or physical / dimensional test and measurement equipment within a ISO 17025 quality system laboratory.
  • Experience with ESD workstation certifications.
  • Experience developing - manual calibration procedures from manufactures manual / specifications.

Skills

  • Former Military PMEL / TMDE training.

  • Full-Time Salary Range: $50300.00 - $93300.00
