Standard Job Description

Calibrates electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.

  • Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
  • Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
  • Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with test equipment and/or tools used to perform calibrations such as multimeters, digital thermometers and particle counters.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and/or specifications.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes, use of hand tools and/or manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with calibration tools and equipment (such as multimeters and digital thermometers).
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes, use of hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship required.
  • Previous work experience in an Aerospace Environment, chemical, electronics and mechanical background or related work experience in adjacent field.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance understanding and application are important.
  • Good understanding of electrical skills is desired.
  • Basic electrical, chemical, mechanical and test understanding.
  • Experience in Automation Framework, SAP, and METNET.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $56600.00 - $105000.00

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

(For Washington state applicants only): Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
