What You’ll Do
- Work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle
- Have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends
- Handle troubleshooting and repairs of equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations
- Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either independently or with another technician
Requirements
- Able to provide a High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Proven 2-5 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs

Essential Job Requirements
- Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts
- Maintain physical capabilities to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance
- Maintain physical capabilities to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level
- Maintain physical capabilities to manipulate small items, functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders
- Pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
