Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Technician 1 Power based in Pearland, TX.

Responsibilities
- Based out of our Pearland, TX service center.
- Opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and potential for travel.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and occasionally on customer locations and handle the repairs.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- 4+ years of experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
- May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
Qualifications
- Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices.
- Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level.
- Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders.
- Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat.
