Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Technician. This Technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.

This role works with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment. It involves working on a variety of makes, models & equipment, developing new skills for a career track in service or operation management, and building skills by working on a variety of makes, models & equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
• Work with a vast fleet that varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment.
• May need to work with specialty lines equipment such as large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 26.11
