Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
• Complete equipment inspections, rebuild major components as needed, perform basic welding, and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and Briggs quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, manage parts and supply, and keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Put safety first by following OSHA, DOT, and company safety practices while participating in ongoing technical training and certifications.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of experience repairing forklifts or similar industrial equipment.
• A strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• A valid driver's license; technical or trade school training and Hyster-Yale certifications are a plus.
