Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit, and publish documentation for manufacturing operations and serviceability processes
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, technicians, quality personnel, and leadership to gather requirements and clarify technical details
• Create clear digital documentation, including visuals and images, that follows established style and platform standards
• Create web-based training content using Articulate
• Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to improve clarity, usability, and effectiveness of documentation
• Help ensure documentation consistency across teams, tools, and processes
• Manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
• Support process documentation and collaboration with subject matter experts

Requirements

• 6 to 7 years of technical writing experience, ideally in manufacturing procedures
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in writing and editing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience using Oxygen XML Editor, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe tools such as Photoshop and Acrobat
• Ability to capture and improve digital photographs for documentation use
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams
• Interest in improving training, serviceability, and operational excellence
