Technical Trainer - Transmission & Distribution - Michels Power, Inc.
About the role
Strengthening our nation’s power grid isn’t easy, but reliable electrical service is essential to everyday life. Every time someone charges an iPhone, cranks up the A/C, or turns on a computer, we are busy behind the scenes making it happen.
Responsibilities
- Partner with staff on the development and implementation of technical field guides
- Train employees and serve as the subject matter expert for technical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Maintain organization and remain detail-oriented
- Travel across the United States and work a flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends
Requirements
- Previous lineman experience, or 5+ years of experience in technical training or related field
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
- Graduate of the NTI program preferred
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
