About the role
Astrolab is seeking a Technical Talent Sourcer to build strong technical talent pipelines, identify exceptional passive candidates, and partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to accelerate hiring across engineering and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Proactively source and engage top technical and business talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, industry events, and creative sourcing strategies.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across multiple disciplines.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities, ideal candidate profiles, and evolving business needs.
- Develop personalized outreach campaigns that generate high response rates from passive candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening to assess alignment with role requirements and company culture.
- Continuously research talent markets, competitors, and sourcing trends to identify new talent pools.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Quickly pivot sourcing strategies as hiring priorities evolve in a rapidly changing startup environment.
- Help improve sourcing processes, tools, and best practices that enable the recruiting team to scale.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, preferably within aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems, hardware, software, defense, or other high-growth technology companies.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, X-ray searches, and other advanced sourcing methodologies.
- Experience with ATS platforms such as Pinpoint, Greenhouse, or similar systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting rapid organizational growth in a startup or scale-up environment; Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Pinpoint, Greenhouse, or similar systems; Strong ability to identify and engage passive candidates; Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and create a positive candidate experience; Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple searches simultaneously; Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving startup environment; Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across recruiting and hiring team; Strong ability to identify and engage passive candidates; 2+ years of experience with ATS platforms such as Pinpoint, Greenhouse, or similar systems.
