Technical Support Specialist I

About the role

We are seeking an entry level IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires an entry level understanding of operating systems, computer networking, and customer service skills to effectively assist users with their IT needs.

Duties

• Provide IT support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems, including operating systems such as Windows.
• Utilize Remedy or similar ticketing systems to track and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall IT service delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing user inquiries and providing timely solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in operating systems, particularly Windows.
• Experience with Remedy or similar IT service management tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
