Technical Support Specialist
About the role
The Technical Support Specialist will join Koch Technology, supporting multiple Koch companies across various industries. The role involves providing consumer-focused IT support, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to software, printers, and other IT components.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices both onsite and remotely.
- Deploy and configure Office 365 products, manage VPN, wireless, and mobility settings.
- Troubleshoot hardware, network connectivity, printers, and software applications.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, share drives, DNS, and network permissions.
- Handle new software standard exceptions and coordinate with service providers.
- Ensure compliance with Koch policies and procedures.
- Resolve known errors and provide workarounds based on IT policies.
- Administer business-specific applications.
Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting complex IT issues.
- Experience deploying software.
- Knowledge of MS operating systems and applications.
- Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in IT desk-side support.
- Experience with data reporting/data analytics.
- Experience with Service Now.
- Experience with KCS methodology (Knowledge-Centered Service).
- Experience with SCCM or other software deployment tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting Mac and Android/iOS issues.
- Experience deploying enterprise-wide IT solutions.
- Experience with AV/Conference room support.
Skills
