Responsibilities
- Manage administrative tasks related to PC and network support
- Collaborate closely with other IT team members
- Use diagnostic and help request tracking tools
- Provide in-person, hands-on assistance directly at the user's workstation
- Assist PC users with everyday technical issues
- Investigate and report hardware and software problems
- Track support requests through a help desk ticketing system
- Support various client platforms, including Windows workstations, voice and data networks, and mobile or remote access solutions
- Install and upgrade PC software
- Configure and deploy new hardware and software
- Develop and maintain procedures for consistent end-user support
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
Requirements
- An associate’s degree in Technology, Business, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience in a technical position with responsibilities for the support of Windows workstations, basic office software applications, and voice and data networks (preferred)
- Experience gained through internships is acceptable
Qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
