Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, and maintain technical specifications and the Manual of Design Criteria;
- Develop technical documents to support design, construction, contracts, and operations processes for capital and non-capital projects;
- Prepare policy and procedure documentation;
- Maintain the most up-to-date versions of technical standards in an orderly manner;
- Conduct timely technical reviews of draft documents;
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or a related field;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in preparing technical specifications and documents for rail transit projects;
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments;
- Extensive experience with all Microsoft Office applications;
- Ability to write clearly and professionally;
- Ability to produce communications quickly and efficiently;
- General knowledge of rail transit agencies' design standards for architecture, engineering and construction, as well as safety and security regulations such as fixed-rail clearances, level-boarding, and OSHA policies.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with standard processes and procedures of technical specifications;
- Professional Engineer (PE) License or Registered Architect (RA);
- Certified Construction Specifier;
- Security Clearance Requirement: None.

$103,500.00 - $181,100.00
