About the role
The Technical Specialist (Information Systems) will provide technical support and assistance to county departments and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for county IT systems
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of new software and hardware
- Document and maintain knowledge base of technical issues and solutions
- Respond to user inquiries and requests for assistance
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field, or an Associate's degree in computer information systems or related field with two years of full-time paid experience in computer operations, technical support, or system development.
- Four years of experience as described above in (2) above, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience as described above in (2) above, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
