Technical Specialist (Information Systems)

About the role

The Technical Specialist (Information Systems) will provide technical support and assistance to county departments and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for county IT systems
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of new software and hardware
• Document and maintain knowledge base of technical issues and solutions
• Respond to user inquiries and requests for assistance

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field, or an Associate's degree in computer information systems or related field with two years of full-time paid experience in computer operations, technical support, or system development.
• Four years of experience as described above in (2) above, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience as described above in (2) above, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
