Position Summary Position Summary: Either supports production areas with technical expertise or produces production parts on more technically complex processes per the responsibilities below. Exact job tasks may vary by area assigned. Scope/Supervision And Interaction This role does not have direct reports. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Fixturing Knowledge of standard racking procedures for all part families. Ability to rack and fixture all products and part families. Load Knowledge of Heat-Treat load entry processes. Ability to efficiently and accurately scan work orders into the load entry system. Able to Load/Unload furnaces independently. Preventative Maintenance and Repairs Perform all required preventative maintenance on equipment. Conduct basic repairs on equipment as appropriate. Documentation and Technical Support Assist in creating and maintaining all Heat-Treat documentation. Provide technical support to team members operating Heat-Treat processes. Perform basic troubleshooting of Heat-Treat furnaces, either independently or in collaboration with Engineers and Leadership. Quality Assurance Identify good and defective parts. Independently perform any required rework. Develop process improvements aimed at reducing rework. Process Improvements Identify opportunities for process enhancement. Implement non-safety-related process improvements as necessary. Actively participate in high-performance teams. Additional Duties Perform other activities or tasks as assigned by the leadership team relevant to the assigned area(s). Qualifications Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to perform job responsibilities. Basic computer literacy. Ability to understand and follow process sheets, drawings, work orders, standard work, work instructions, and other relevant documents. Proficient in using measurement devices such as calipers, VMM, and micrometers. Capable of troubleshooting in multiple areas. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Typical Mental and Physical Demands Spend most of the day walking or standing. Ability to evaluate parts and processes with both near and far vision. Collaborate with team members, maintenance, leadership, and manufacturing engineering to support processes. Work with equipment in the area using appropriate tools.
