Responsibilities
- Develop and implement testing plans with internal and external teams to support product specifications.
- Advise customers on flooring specifications, building code considerations, and building acoustics.
- Lead customer calls and meetings alongside the sales team; manage follow-up actions to keep projects moving.
- Create and present technical documentation, training materials, and product presentations for customers and internal partners.
- Contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions that improve customer outcomes and technical support effectiveness.
- Support internal business partners as needed (examples may include training customer service teams on technical specifications, partnering with marketing on technical content, and coordinating with labs/technical teams to analyze data).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of experience of flooring installation project management experience.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a willingness to learn technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and explain complex concepts to end users and customers.
- Ability to travel approximately 10–15% (local and across the U.S.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Green Belt trained (required within the first 12 months of employment).
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical, sales support, or customer service role.
- Exposure to flooring installation or technical coordination.
