About the role

Lead and deliver complex technical solutions on time and within budget, managing programs and projects end-to-end across Agile delivery environments.

Collaborate with solution architects to shape technical design decisions, driving architectural reviews and ensuring standards around scalability, security, and maintainability are upheld across every engagement.

Inform and drive the process of defining solutions that leverage modern cloud, data, and digital technologies, ensuring the approach aligns to client outcomes and delivers measurable value.

Support pre-sales activities including pursuit strategy, defining the delivery approach, and proposal development, helping to shape compelling, winnable client engagements.

Lead the adoption of automation and AI capabilities across delivery teams, identifying opportunities to accelerate discovery, documentation, and development activities and embedding smarter ways of working into how the team operates.

Deliver clear, compelling communications and performance metrics that demonstrate business value and technical excellence to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Inform and drive the process of defining solutions that leverage modern cloud, data, and digital technologies, ensuring the approach aligns to client outcomes and delivers measurable value.
  • Support pre-sales activities including pursuit strategy, defining the delivery approach, and proposal development, helping to shape compelling, winnable client engagements.
  • Lead the adoption of automation and AI capabilities across delivery teams, identifying opportunities to accelerate discovery, documentation, and development activities and embedding smarter ways of working into how the team operates.
  • Deliver clear, compelling communications and performance metrics that demonstrate business value and technical excellence to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading technical delivery across custom software, data, analytics, or digital transformation programs in a consulting or client-facing environment.
  • Proven ability to inform and communicate technical architecture decisions, with baseline fluency in cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP — and modern cloud solution design.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, data platforms, and API design is strongly preferred, with a background in custom software development environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to scope, estimate, and decompose complex technical programs, with experience in capacity planning, SOW development, and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Strong program and project management skills including budget oversight, risk management, and performance reporting across multi-workstream engagements.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing technical teams, with the ability to manage performance and foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value narratives that inspire confidence and drive client decision-making.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales pursuits, contributing to proposals, and engaging in solution-shaping conversations with prospective clients.
  • Comfortable leading product ideation, rapid prototyping, and co-development operating models in partnership with clients.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of navigating complexity and ambiguity across multiple concurrent engagements.

Paid Time Off and Leave

  • Statutory leave required by federal, Illinois, or other applicable law, such as FMLA, bereavement, sick leave, emergency leave, jury duty or witness leave, and VESSA leave.
  • Inspire11 has a self-managed paid time off policy (PTO) that does not set predetermined upper limits on the amount of PTO an employee may take. All PTO must be requested in advance and approved by the appropriate supervisor to ensure client work can continue.
