About the role
TCS is seeking a Program Director for the Enterprise Solutions Unit Consulting practice. This role involves planning, executing, and managing complex and large transformation engagements for TCS clients. The Program Director will coordinate the work of TCS and client team members across one or more projects, ensuring successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components. Accountability includes overall quality, engagement, adherence to schedule, and budget for the project.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate end-to-end business process knowledge in SAP processes.
- Establish solution architecture to drive NextGen releases.
- Create a framework for adopting clean core using extensibility and low-code/no-code principles.
- Deliver all architectural and design deliverables.
- Coach leads and team members to deliver the NextGen program.
- Identify and derive integrated solution architecture.
- Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for implementing NextGen release solutions.
- Coordinate project timelines with teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the client’s satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project team members in managing overall resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Manage program-level status, metrics, issues, and risks, and oversee completion and sign-off on program deliverables.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team and client leadership.
- Lead and collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.
- Utilize SAP BTP services to develop and integrate applications, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP Analytics Cloud, with SAP S/4HANA.
- Implement data integration solutions and data transformations using SAP BTP services.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ABAP developments and BTP integrations, including design documents, user guides, and system specifications.
- Stay abreast of emerging SAP technologies and BTP advancements to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Apply strong understanding of cloud technologies, SAP Brownfield and Bluefield conversion processes, and migrations.
- Use tools and concepts for custom code remediation and migration.
- Understand SAP tools for migration/conversion processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ABAP programming models, including CAP and RAP with advanced concepts and best practices.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development.
- Manage stakeholders for a global program and address potential issues proactively.
- Bring strong business process knowledge of manufacturing processes and related integration scenarios.
- Exhibit strong cross-functional leadership by collaborating with SAP functional consultants and understanding end-to-end processes.
- Coordinate with business teams during design, configuration, unit testing, user acceptance tests, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and guide business counterparts toward the right SAP solution.
- Lead sales opportunities and an integration team with clean core principles.
- Work with C-level executives and be hands-on as required.
- Mentor junior team members and build assets/accelerators and thought leadership.
- Manage 20+ resources.
- Travel up to 100% as needed.
Requirements
- At least five (5) full life cycle implementations as an Architect with multi-module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
- A minimum of ten (10) years of prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
- At least six (6) years’ experience in proposal and business case development.
- Experience managing large SAP S/4 HANA transformation projects as an Enterprise Solution Architect with BTP adaptation as a core objective.
- Strong experience in solution design across multiple functional areas and integration with SAP cloud solutions/non-SAP application landscapes using BTP.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ability to articulate the business value enabled by SAP S/4HANA and BTP framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Pay
Salary Range: $218,600 - $287,000 a year
